TRANSGENDER SONG WRITER SEES SONG REACH NO. 1

BEAUTY AND THE BOUTIQUE HOTEL • When Sean first suggested a photoshoot at a cosy boutique hotel in Brighton my first thought was how exciting it would be. Having met and spoken with Sean and having read the lovely comments from others who have had photo-sessions, I was very confident that it would be a great idea. As it turned out, it was.

GETTING MY STORY HEARD

LONDON, MY LONDON • Historically referred to as ‘The Centre of the Universe’, London has long been a magnet for migrants. Since its inception, waves of communities (no doubt including LGBTQ+) have settled in the UK’s capital, thus enriching the diversity and vibrancy of life in this amazing city.

LAPORSCHA

Becoming Ophelia • How times change. As a child with an urge to crossdress I thought myself alone with a weird disorder. Now as I endeavour to write and share my story I’m conscious of not wanting to bore potential readers of this magazine with an all too familiar tale!

KNOCK OUT BLONDE

DRESS LIKE A TROPHY WIFE!!

A letter from Isobel

JADE MIA BROADHEAD • For as long as I remember, I’ve wanted to be a singer. People often said I wanted to be Kurt Cobain with my floppy blonde hair, but deep down, it was Courtney Love who I aspired to be. The guys at school wanted to be Axl Rose or Slash, I wanted to be Kat Bjelland from Babes in Toyland. I’ve written songs for as long as I remember, but I was an awful performer. Crippled by stage-fright, the slightest mistake would make me feel sick inside, thinking nobody would ever like my music.

JULIE’S STUDIO PHOTOSHOOT
